Do you install Govee or other DIY permanent lighting systems?

No. X-Stream Exteriors does not install customer-supplied Govee lights or other retail/DIY permanent lighting kits purchased from stores such as Home Depot, Lowe’s, Amazon, or similar retailers.

These systems are designed primarily for homeowner installation and may rely on adhesive mounting, exposed wiring, or components that are not intended for the same type of professional installation we provide. Because we cannot control the quality, condition, installation requirements, or long-term performance of customer-supplied products, we do not install them or assume liability for those systems.

If scheduling a demonstration isn’t convenient, we may also be able to provide the address of a nearby completed installation so you can drive by and see the system on an actual home. Many of our customers over the years have been kind enough to allow us to share their property location with prospective customers for this purpose.

Customer privacy is important to us. We only share the addresses of completed installations when the homeowner has given us permission to do so. We will never provide a customer’s address for viewing without their consent.

Does permanent outdoor lighting come with a warranty?

Yes. The permanent outdoor lighting system installed by X-Stream Exteriors includes a 3-year warranty for added peace of mind.

During those first three years, X-Stream Exteriors does not charge a service-call fee for covered warranty issues. If you experience a problem with your lighting system, simply contact us and our team will help determine the issue and arrange service as needed.

Warranty coverage may vary by component, and our team is happy to explain exactly what is covered so you know what to expect before your installation.

Are permanent lights installed on strings like traditional Christmas lights?
